Full refurbishment of a residential block on Strada San Mauro, Turin. Envelope, roof, solar system and an external glazed lift added from scratch on the courtyard side.

Why it matters

The existing building stays standing and changes class: lower consumption, step-free access that was not there before, a different property value. It is the kind of job the group built its method on — sites on occupied housing, with people living inside.
