Refurbishment of a multi-storey building in the centre of Nichelino: full scaffolding with containment sheeting, complete roof replacement, envelope. On the street front, with traffic and the shops below carrying on as usual.
What was done
- Full scaffolding with containment sheeting on every elevation
- Complete replacement of the tiled roof
- Thermal insulation and repair of the elevations
- New sheet metal and downpipes
- Traffic management and coordination with the ground-floor businesses
Why it matters
On a street, in a built-up centre, the most delicate part is everything around the site: permits, occupation of public land, safety for passers-by, shops that have to stay open. It is work that never shows in the photographs and it decides whether a job closes on time.
